A special team travel to Antarctica to restore the expedition huts of famous Australian explorer, Sir Douglas Mawson. The huts represent the tradition of Antarctic exploration in the constant battle against the icy wilderness. Working to preserve them in treacherous winds, freezing temperatures and 24-hour daylight pushes their human endurance to the limit. This modern day adventure entails great physical hardship and considerable risk, requiring courage, comradeship and a sheer tenacity to survive.
